Almost a year ago, Palestinian children held a press conference outside of Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza, where they called upon the world to stop the unfolding genocide and hold Zionist military personnel accountable for their role in the ongoing brutalities faced by people all over Gaza.

"Since the 7th of October, we've faced extermination, killing, bombing over our heads—all of this in front of the world," one child said at that press conference. He continued: “We come now to shout and invite you to protect us. We want to live, we want peace, we want to judge the killers of children. We want medicine, food, and education, and we want to live as the other children live."

That press conference was held on Nov. 7, 2023, at which point the Zionist state had killed at least 10,305 Palestinians. The Zionist military has killed tens of thousands of Palestinian children since, including a two-week massacre at Al Shifa Hospital in late March and early April 2024.

In response to Palestinian poet Mosab Abu Toha’s call for children’s actions around the world, we will mobilize Nov. 7-10, 2024, one year after the children’s press conference at Al Shifa Hospital.

During these four days, children of all ages, their families, and communities at large are invited to take action by:

- Holding a children’s march or vigil to honor child martyrs from Palestine to Lebanon

- Holding a press conference in solidarity with Palestinian children in Gaza outside schools or hospitals

- Organizing a walkout at your middle school, high school, or university

- Organizing a fundraising event for Gaza (shutitdown4palestine.org/fundraiser)

- Gathering for children’s activities to talk about Palestine with kids

This genocide continues as the Zionist state keeps killing Palestinian people and now Lebanese people every day—both children and adults. Every single one of their lives must be defended from Zionist genocidal violence and expanding settler colonialism, and from the U.S. settler colonial state supplying the bombs and bullets.

Children and families of the world, take action in solidarity with children during the Nov. 7-10 international days of action, for an end to U.S.-funded genocide and a free Palestine.

Children’s Days of Action
November 7-10, 2024

Palestinian poet Mosab Abu Toha has made a call for children and families to mobilize and take action. In solidarity with Palestinian kids in Gaza who have marched and held press conferences to resist genocide, children around the world will take part in the international Children's Days of Action. Kids, families, and community members will hold a vigil, march, and/or press conference, holding signs with photos of Palestinian children who’ve been martyred by the Zionist state, and calling for an end to the genocide and a free Palestine.
